SAPHEX 2022

More than just an event

SAPHEX, The Pharmacy Show, GP Expo & the inaugural Nursing Practice made its return to Johannesburg, South Africa after 2 years. With over 2,500 visitors attending the event to explore 2 conference streams and the products and services of 140+ exhibitors on the show floor. SAPHEX was a truly spectacular event and encapsulated its audience for a 5th successive year across the 2 live event days.

SmartaStudio has been working with the team at SAPHEX to help deliver marketing and graphic design services to help grow the event year on year since 2018. 2022 was like no other… with banners, signage, stands and much more to be designed to ensure the safety of all visitors and attendees to the event due to the ongoing pandemic in South Africa.

Event Branding

As SAPHEX is an ever-evolving event and continues to add elements to its offering for the South African medical landscape each year we brand the graphics and look of the show to suit the evolution of the event for that year.

In 2022, we branded the event to showcase the ambitious plans which the event has for the years to come in expanding its offering and involving more industries to come together as one at SAPHEX.

We chose the colours and fonts for 2022 as dark blue with a futuristic typography to showcase the knowledge, power, integrity, and seriousness of the event and its plans to evolve in the years to come.

Programme

SmartaStudio designed and put together an 74 page onsite programme which was held and seen by over 2500 industry professionals at the Sandton Convention Centre.

With SAPHEX being co-located with 3 other industry events, we had to design the programme in a way which resonated with everyone in attendance, had a natural flow to the programme and provided delegates and exhibitors with the information that they needed.

Event Graphics

Due to the environment in South Africa with the pandemic, signage was key for the success of this event to ensure that social contact was kept to a minimum.

SmartaStudio designed and created over 10 different signs which were placed around the event to direct delegates to the correct areas of the show.

We also designed stage backdrops for the 2 conference theatres in the show hall and hanging signs for each too.

Some of the event signs had logos for the events partners/sponsors which meant the design of the stands needed to be inline with the brand guidelines set by these companies.
